Club Information

Long Buckby Hockey Club has been running for over 100 years. Although originally based in Long Buckby the clubs home pitches are now in Daventry at the William Parker School .

The club was originally a ladies only club however now we are running four teams; two ladies teams, a mixed team and our Badgers team (a boys development side). As part of our continual growth and development it is the clubs aim to start a mens team in the next few years.

We are a very friendly and professional club and welcome new players of all ages and ability into the club.

We hold senior training on Thursday nights from 7.00 – 9.30 at William Parker School , Daventry and Junior training on Sunday mornings 10 -11.30 also at the school. All training costs £2 and is conducted by qualified coaches.

The aim of our club is to provide the encouragement and support necessary to allow both junior and senior players to achieve their full potential within the sport.

Subscriptions 

Long Buckby Hockey club works hard though fundraising and sponsorship to keep the subscriptions and playing costs down to a minimum. We are proud to be one of the cheapest clubs in the area to play for. The clubs subscriptions are as follows:

Seniors £50

Full-time students (over 16) and juniors playing in regular Saturday games £25

Juniors £5

Family Membership - as a family you pay for the two highest club subscriptions and the rest of the family can join for free.

Match Fees

Seniors £6, Students £4 & Juniors playing on Saturdays £4
